A couple of weeks ago, a gentleman reached out to us for a session. His original request was a 2-hour session. Naturally, hearing this I realized that this is a first-time parent and he really isn’t familiar with what children can or cannot handle. After discussing the ups and downs of every session and explaining what can and can’t be expected, we settled on the Full Session from our Babies and Children’s photography category.
Dylan was a dream model at his 100-Days session. We did a few family shots to start the session off and get him and his parents comfortable with the camera.
We then proceeded towards Formal wear, where we used one of our favorite scenes β Around the World. To a huge surprise, even being propped up, Dylan did a phenomenal job sitting.
After getting various shots sitting and laying, we proceeded to the last theme. Parents brought a monkey suit, naturally, we whipped out the jungle scene and this time put Dylan on the back. At this point, we were way over 40minutes into the session and our little model started getting tired and cranky. Given how he was acting during this time, very unhappy, I am glad we were able to get a wonderful selection of images.
As with all sessions, we can only prepare for them so much, at the end of the day, it is mostly about how the baby does that day.Β If you are interested in learning more about a newborn portrait session with us, contact us today for more details!
