At Picture Perfect NY, photography has always been about more than pictures. It is about people, families, community, and preserving the moments and stories that truly matter.
Today, we want to share a story that is especially personal to us.
Our family is proudly connected to Autism Without A Voice, a nonprofit organization founded and led primarily by dedicated Staten Island high school students who chose to spend their time making a positive difference in the lives of others.
One of those founding members is our son.
As parents, there is something incredibly meaningful about watching young people dedicate themselves to kindness, inclusion, and service instead of following the negativity and distractions that so often surround today’s world. Rather than simply talking about change, these students took action and created something that genuinely helps families and individuals with autism and disabilities feel supported, welcomed, and included.
Their mission is centered around creating opportunities, building community, and giving a voice to individuals who are too often overlooked.
According to a recent article published by SILive / Staten Island Advance, Autism Without A Voice offers free weekly programs for individuals with disabilities, helping provide meaningful activities, connection, and support for local families.
As both parents and business owners, this organization means a great deal to us. Through our work at Picture Perfect NY, we have had the privilege of meeting many wonderful families raising children with autism and developmental differences. We understand how important patience, compassion, communication, and community support truly are.
That is why supporting Autism Without A Voice is not simply something we promote — it is something we believe in deeply as a family.
What makes this organization especially inspiring is that it was created by young people who genuinely care. These students are proving that leadership has nothing to do with age. They saw a need in their community and decided to dedicate their time, energy, and hearts toward helping others.
We could not be prouder to support our son and the incredible team behind this mission.
