Cake Smash Photography, Brooklyn, NY | Maya is ONE!  It’s been a year since we photographed baby Maya at her newborn photography session. When dad called us and wanted to book her First Birthday session, I thought to myself, where did the time go?! We discussed all the details and colors they would like to incorporate for Maya’s cake smash session. Mom chose light pink and light blue as those were the colors of her party theme.

We started out with some family pictures along with formal pictures in Maya’s beautiful Birthday dress, and at the end, it was cake time! They brought Maya in on her exact Birthday, well, why not?! What better way to celebrate than with some Cake smash photos? Maya was not a fan of taking her pictures in her Birthday dress at all BUT…. once we introduced the cake and she got a little taste, the rest speaks for itself!

She was all comfortable in just wearing her diaper cover, and she was happy as can be. She is not smiling in her cake smash images, but she was too busy eating her cake, can you blame her?! :)
