Baby Eva turned one!! Happy birthday, Eva!

As a celebration, of course we had to bring her into the studio so we could do her one year pictures. We decided to add a cute little cake for her as well. After all, birthdays need cakes!

Baby Eva, like a lot of children, wasn’t too much into the cake, but rather amused by the decorative puffs around her.

Eva’s First Birthday Cake Smash Photography Session Details

For her session, Mom decided that she wanted her session to be themed in pink and gold. As you can see, Eva dressed to match this theme. For some color variation, we also decided to add some baby blues and greens into the scenery as well.

Her giant cupcake cake matched the session colors nicely. The cake had a baby green bottom with white polka dots, and blush pink frosting to match the backdrop and baby Eva’s outfit.

For the backdrop of this session, we used a soft pink and purple floral background. This backdrop complimented the session colors nicely, pulling everything together into the same tone. Different color fans danced across the backdrop nicely complimenting the soft pink tones.

To continue the theme of fans, Eva’s dress carried on these theme, decorated with pink and gold tassels.

To further decorate the backdrop, we also included some balloons for Eva’s first birthday cake smash photography session.

Pink & Gold

In our studio, a lot of parents actually choose the pink and gold theme for their little girl’s. The nice thing about this theme is that it is timeless. No matter if the child is 3 months or 3 years old, the pink and gold theme goes well with any age! The good thing about coming into a studio as well is that the props are very easy to switch out. This flexibility gives you an absolutely custom session.
