| Rosh Hashanah | The New Beginning |
Rosh Hashanah, the New Year, celebrated by Jewish Nation all over the world. There are many explanations and lessons contained in Rosh Hashanah, some are simpler to understand, some have kabbalistic/deeper/mystical teachings, many of which can be found in the almighty Google search engine. One of the customs of Rosh Hashanah, is to eat apples dipped in honey to symbolize ultra-sweet new year. The actual Rosh Hashanah, starts this Sunday night, but we started the celebration few days earlier with this little guy.

Meet Ethan Samuel. We met, his parents couple few years ago, when photographing older brother Noah’s newborn session, and they are back. Mom asked if there was a way to incorporate apples in the session to symbolize Rosh Hashanah. We thought what a fantastic idea!! We decided to use orchard-like set and added various accessories to dress it up. One in particular item is the Honey Jar; parents brought it in. It is the honey jar that was gifted to the family and used every year during Rosh Hashanah Family Dinner.
It was a pleasure photographing and working with this family again! Ethan did amazing and gave use the most smiles in one session that a newborn baby has every given us š <3
From our family to yours have a happy, healthy & sweet New Year.
