There’s a typical routine, an inquiry, response, and planning. That is the routine for getting the session ready. Occasional phone conversations and a lot of emails back and forth and finally the preparation work is done, it is time for the session. Our little models come, they bring their parent(s) and we capture the images based on chosen packages. But being curious, I often wonder “why”? Why do people choose specific packages? Why do people opt out of something or opt-in? Why do our clients choose a specific theme?
Most often than not, certain cake smash themes are chosen because the baby likes it. Themes like Boss Baby, Flower Garden, Moana, Cookie Monster, etc etc, are all done because the baby is familiar with the music in these shows. However, there are other themes that are more personal to the family, like Harry Potter-themed sessions, for example or rainbow baby.
